Designer tapestries: from Picasso to the modern creations in the manufactories of Gobelins and Beauvais

The exhibition informs visitors on the incredible relation that exists between the ancient art of the tapestry and contemporary figurative languages, by way of significant works by distinguished artists, such as Picasso, Matisse, Mirò.
Visitors will admire an interesting selection of tapestries and furnishing accessories belonging to the current production of the well-known French manufactories of Gobelins and Beauvais, now operative on State commissions and incorporated into the Mobilier national.
